All the books we send out are autographed by the author. If you'd like a particular inscription, send us your request by email. It will add about four days to the process. Shipping takes 4-15 business days, depending on your location, but we can do a rush order--contact us if you need that.

We normally use the U.S. Postal service, which has worked well so far, but if you need us to ship it via another service, let us know, by writing smallhouse@theriver.com. PLEASE NOTE that from now until January 5 all books will be sent via priority mail, so they will arrive within 4 business days in the US, and within 8 business days anywhere in the world.

You can also order our book through your local bookstore. Many bookstores keep it in stock. Or ask your local library to order it, and read it there!

We appreciate your purchase. When you buy directly from us, we net about $6 per book. When you buy through a bookstore we net about $1.70, and when you buy through an internet discount site, the sum is 41 cents.
